Certification & Standards
Windoor attaches great importance to the verification of the quality and operation of our products. All systems have been tested in accordance with international standards at recognised testing facilities.
Our balconies are manufactured in steel/aluminium in accordance with EN1090, and as a system for construction it is CE-marked in compliance with EN1090-2 (steel) and EN1090-3 (aluminium). They are manufactured in a factory which is certified EN1090 compliant. We are not only the manufacturer, but also responsible for the design and engineering behind it; this process is also incorprated into the above compliancy. It is illegal to install a balcony which is not CE-Marked and ultimately can be removed.
By working with Windoor you can demonstrate, in addition to EN1090, that our Quality Assurances certifies compliancy for the following:
- BS/EN 1990 Eurocode 0 Design basis for load-bearing structures
- BS/EN 1991 Eurocode 1 Loads for load-bearing structures
