Laminated (safety glass)
Laminated (Safety Glass)
Laminated glass is formed by bonding together two or more sheets of float glass with a flexible, normally transparent material (opaque materials are also available). If the glass is cracked or broken the flexible material is designed to hold the glass fragments in place.
For this reason Laminated glass offers a high degree of security. It is ideally suited for use on the inner pane of glass roofs as in the event of breakage it will prevent any glass from falling in.
